I have a confession to make: I’m a perfectionist. And I am curious.
I’ve had the good fortune throughout my career to work on some of the best international advertising campaigns. Many of my clients include the top automotive and sports companies. I’ve been with the Canon Explores of Light program since its inception. I have traveled the world in search of the perfect shot, which is always so elusive.
About seven years ago I drank the CGI Kool-Aid and jumped from a very high bridge with a very small parachute. I became absolutely fascinated with the possibilities of CGI and its application to the greater world communications photography. For so much imaging, it is the future.
Using an extremely expensive and very high-resolution laser scanner, I developed the expertise necessary to create excellent point clouds of real-world scenes. But it is a long way from the colored point clouds featured on the manufacturers’ websites to the highly detailed yet lightweight models that we offer hot ModelsfromMars.
Together with the brilliant modeling and CGI knowledge of Martin Duerr and the other talented people behind our scenes (pun intended), we offer a suite of products and services that we believe to be the best. Period.
ModelsfromMars is our offering of the rich detail of the world, ready for the CGI artist. We strive for perfection beyond anything available.

If you require advanced product visualization, we can create high resolution 3D product tours with hot spots in ultra high resolution that render locally in realtime, as well as beautifully lighted product renderings.

When I started with 3D, I did it by an accident.
It was 1989 and a customer wanted to know if the logo I designed for him could be made in „3D“ as well.
I answered truthfully: no idea, but I will do some research.
I found 3D instantly addictive! Twenty years ago 3D was something very expensive, complex and best of all you had to learn it by yourself, no online tutorials available, no Youtube .... nothing, except determination to get behind complex secrets.
Today, 3D is mandatory in an increasingly broad spectrum of visualization, tv, film, games, illustration, realtime and print.
Deep expertise is required to achieve ever-evolving quality.
Indeed, it is all about the details. As all visual media merge and become dependent in expertise across an increasingly large spectrum of talents, I have continued to pursue all disciplines that lead to a greater understanding of 3D as art.
I met Clint Clemens 2007. We created Models From Mars to blend photography and real world capture with in depth 3D experience.
The result has been the merging of minds and talent which allows us to take the art of 3D to a new level of quality and service.
Our combined expertise has produced quality products and services. In our webstore, we have created what we believe is the finest collection of CGI material for the discriminating experienced artist.
